Taiwan’s textile industry has earned a prominent reputation for Taiwan as a leading functional textile innovation country for more than 10 years. Not only by its innovative textile technology but also its entire textile supply network help attract a number of international brands and retailers of sportswear and outdoor wears to source such high performance materials from Taiwan. To enhance Taiwan’s competitiveness of functional textiles, Taiwan Textile Federation (TTF) established a performance quality verification and certification system for the industry since 2001, called Taiwan Functional Textiles (TFT). TFT currently comprises 23 categories of functional textiles and was also registered as a certificate mark in Taiwan, Japan, China, EU and the US. All Taiwan textile mills and apparel makers are entitled to apply for such certificate mark. TTF organizes a series of promotional events for the certified textiles in those leading textile trade fairs in the world every year. On 22-23 July 2019, TTF is participating in Functional Fabric Fair (Booth No. 301) in New York. Several collections of the TFT certified textiles will be displayed. Furthermore, four textile companies will also join the booth to present their new developments- namely Advance Hitech International Corp., Chin Hsin Weaving FTY Co., Ltd., Handseltex Industrial Corp. and Wit Fit Enterprise Co., Ltd.
