Nextec Srl adds André Bručre to Boost OutDry Growth

André Bručre, partner of Referencia International, a private equity firm whose focus is on early stage companies with high growth potential has entered into a capital/equity agreement with Nextec Srl, the Italian based technology company and developers of OutDry, the patented waterproof and breathable lamination technology used within the functional footwear and glove industry for sport, security and military products.

A native of Brazil, André Bručre has an extensive international background in the footwear industry holding executive positions at Brown Shoes as VP Sales and Marketing for Latin America, at Reebok as President of Reebok Mexico and most recently as President of Reebok Italy.

"I was very impressed with the technological superiority of OutDry and the high performance of the products in which it is integrated, especially in applications and industries which until now were inconceivable. The development work that Nextec Srl has accomplished to date is excellent and has clearly paved the way for significant growth with OutDry in the coming years,” explains Bručre. “The waterproof market is difficult and somewhat stagnant, but it is also ripe for innovation, better products and ultimately added consumer satisfaction. In addition to the role of Chairman of the Board of Nextec Srl, Bručre will actively participate in the company’s day-to-day operations along with taking on the responsibility of developing OutDry technology with the most qualified international brands with particular attention to the U.S.
