Glen Raven and Performance Textiles Launch Mesh Safety Fabric

Glen Raven Technical Fabrics, and specialty fabrics manufacturer, Performance Textiles, Inc., are bringng to market GlenGuard Hi-Vis mesh fabric. This patented, high-visibility, flame and arc flash resistant mesh fabric is designed to make safety vests cooler and more comfortable without sacrificing protective benefits.

The Hi-Vis mesh safety fabric is available in luminescent yellow/green and meets the following criteria: ANSI/ISEA 107 for reflectivity and conspicuity; ASTM F 1506 for flame resistance; and NFTA 70E arc flash protection with an ATPV of 5.1 cal.

Performance Textiles will market the new made-in-USA Hi-Vis fabrics to safety apparel makers serving the industrial, highway construction, electric and gas utilities, and transportation sectors plus any industry where high visibility plus flame and arc flash protection are optimal for worker safety.
